Funso Adeolu

Olufunso Adeolu is a vibrant communications professional with over a decade of adding value in the integrated marketing communications industry. His strengths cut across Public Relations, Corporate and Marketing Communications, Brand Strategy, Crisis Management and Strategic Communications.

Among the numerous brands he has put his passion into are Nigerian Breweries Plc, Bayer Nigeria Ltd, Nokia, Virgin Nigeria, Zain Nigeria (now Airtel), LG Electronics, Guinness, African Petroleum Plc, Anabel Mobile, Zenon Oil and Gas, Diamond Bank (now Access Bank), Broll Properties, Lagos State Office of Public-Private-Partnerships (OPPP), DLM Capital Group, MAX.ng and many more.

He is a graduate of Sociology from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, and a holder of a Diploma in Public Relations. He also has a Master’s degree from the University of Lagos in International Law and Diplomacy and is an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)

Hassan Abdul, mnipr, arpa

CEO

Hassan Abdul’s experience in communications cuts across print and digital journalism, integrated marketing communications and bespoke communications strategy development and execution.

He is an member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (MNIPR) and an associate member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (arpa).

An army veteran, he holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Mass Communications from Bayero University, Kano and a Certificate in Creative Design and Digital Communications from the School of Media and Communications (SMC), Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos.

He began his career in communications in 2006 as a reporter with Media Trust Ltd, publishers of the Trust newspaper titles. He became the company’s pioneer Online Editor, a position he held for 5 (five) years, playing an instrumental role in setting up all of the company’s current digital assets. He was also, until his departure, a member of the company’s Innovations Committee, a team tasked with ensuring the company and all its titles are constantly poised to cope with present and future editorial, production and business challenges.

He joined Unity Bank Plc in 2013 as Head of CSR and Digital Marketing. He later became the Bank’s Head of Media and External Relations and doubled as its Head of Digital/Marketing Communications and Publications. In both capacities, he was tasked with managing the Bank’s relationship with the media and the public by extension as well as developing communication strategies for marketing its range of products.

He is also a public speaker, giving talks and facilitating trainings on Brand Management, Integrated Marketing Communications and Public Relations for in-house audiences and public business development events.

Crispin Oduobuk

Associate Partner

Crispin Oduobuk is a media and communications strategy practitioner with over eighteen years’ experience. He has been involved in managing the external affairs of some major organisations including Unity Bank Plc, where he served in a number of roles between 2009 and 2013; ActionAid Nigeria, where he has been a communications consultant at different times, and Partners West Africa-Nigeria where he has also advised on communication matters.

A skilled trainer and facilitator with over ten years’ experience in facilitating trainings, Crispin is also adept at prepping Senior Executives for media and public interface, as well as speech writing and speech delivery. His expertise also covers event management and publicity, and he is equally skilled in developing and implementing communication plans while keeping organisational or project-specific goals insight

Additionally, Crispin has held senior editorial positions in the Trust Newspapers group and other media organisations. A 1996 best graduating student of Literature-in-English from the University of Abuja, he also has post-graduate training certificates from the Lagos Business School (Communications Strategy) and the web-based Banker’s Academy of New York.

Julius Ogar

Lead, Media Relations

Julius Ogar is an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) with over a decade of prior experience in journalism.

He was Pioneer News Editor, Blueprint newspaper from March to July, 2011 from where he moved to become Group News Editor, Peoples Daily and Peoples Daily Weekend from October 2011 to February 2013. He joined Diametrics Limited as Asst. Manager, Client Service in April 2013. He started journalism practice as a Researcher with Cavalet Publications, publishers of The Market magazine (now rested) in February 2004. He was appointed pioneer Editor of Kaduna Chronicle, a community newspaper (now defunct) in April 2006. In August 2007, he was appointed Deputy (acting) Editor, The Market magazine and later re-designated Associate Editor.

He holds a Diploma in Mass Communications from the Polytechnic, Calabar (now Cross River State University of Science and Technology); Bachelor of Arts, Mass Communications from Bayero University, Kano; and Masters in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Ogar's keen understanding of the Nigerian media landscape as well as regional and national audiences, brings an unmatched level of perceptiveness into Media Range's Public Relations solutions.
